„How to get through loss?

It's the question that underlies any book, confession, or work of art that has as its starting point precisely this incomprehensible experience: the loss of a loved one. One cannot be prepared for grief; there are no courses, workshops, or webinars that can offer a miracle recipe to return to your previous state. However, healing and coming to terms with the irreconcilable are possible. This is why we chose the subtitle: Grief Book, an object to accompany and make this catastrophe smoother, even though each experience of grief is profoundly personal. The anthology features a collection of fiction and non-fiction texts, essays, poetry, and prose, structured like a spiral. It explores various circles of loss – grandparents, children, parents, friends, life partners – mirroring life's natural, unending cycles of experience.”

-Emanuela Ignățoiu Sora, editor.

"Although we perform small symbolic deaths almost every moment of our lives, accepting death is one of the most difficult missions for a human being,

We experience death every night when we go to bed, separating ourselves from the conscious world.

We die a little every time we go to a job that is not right for us,

We die every second we spend in a relationship that doesn’t make us happy,

Every time we say yes, although we would like to say no,

Every time we eat or drink more than we need,

We die every time we forget that self-love is not an optional activity,

but a duty to ourselves.

And, despite the fact that we die so often, we cannot accept death, we are afraid of it."
